Introduction
This Delivery Policy is applicable and in support of all vendors of go-mall.online. This policy is in conjunction with the policy of the respective vendors. This Delivery Policy has been developed to ensure the accurate and secure delivery of all purchases according to the customer’s delivery needs. This Delivery Policy forms part of the agreement between Go Mall, its vendors, and the customers using the platform. This Delivery Policy should be read together with the platform Terms and Conditions.
Delivery Procedure
Once an order has been received and confirmed, no changes to the specified address and/or delivery option will be accepted, unless specifically acknowledged as being accepted by us or the applicable vendor.
Customers are required to provide their physical address for delivery and contact details when completing their purchase. Products will be delivered to the physical address specified by the customer.
After payment has been made, the customer will receive a tracking code, once the item has been collected by the courier, which they can use to track the delivery.
Orders will be delivered between 09:00 and 17:00 on weekdays.
It is the customer’s sole responsibility to ensure that someone is available to receive the order once it has reached the delivery address.
If no one is present at the address when the delivery is made, the customer will receive notification that an attempt was made to deliver, and that the delivery will be made the next day. An additional charge may be applicable.
The person receiving the order is required to sign a delivery note or have the requisite photograph/scan taken as proof that the order has been delivered.
Before signing the delivery note, the person receiving is required to check the contents of the order received against the delivery note to ensure that the products are not damaged or missing any products.
Once the person has signed and agreed that the order is correct, undamaged, and in good condition, the customer will not have a claim for any incomplete/missing orders.
Delivery Fees
Delivery fees are calculated at Checkout, according to the size of your basket and the location of the delivery address.
Some orders might qualify for free delivery, but this will be indicated at Checkout. Heavy/bulky goods will incur a delivery surcharge depending on size and weight.
Delivery Methods
Orders will be delivered by the appointed courier, namely The Courier Guy/ Pudo.Selected vendors might offer a collection or pick up service.
Delivery Time Frame
Without considering or being affected by external factors, local orders within South Africa will be delivered to the customer as stated below:
Email delivery of digital goods will be instant after the order has been received and confirmed; and Physical goods are courier dependent and will be delivered as soon as is reasonably possible after the order has been received and confirmed.
Collection
In certain instances, we permit the collection of orders by customers, and in such instances, no delivery fee will apply, however, the Goods may only be collected once the customer has been advised by the vendor that the goods are ready for collection.
Should a customer wish to do this, they are required to specify this during the checkout process.
Disclaimer
We shall take all reasonable steps to ensure that goods, purchase price, and delivery charges of goods on the website are accurately reflected. However, should there be any errors of whatsoever nature on the website (which are not due to our fault), we shall not be liable to make good on a transaction based on any error.
We will not be liable if delivery does not occur within the time frame mentioned in this Delivery Policy and cannot be liable for any loss occurred by the delay in delivery.
